QWest Pricing for upgrade from 1.5 mb to 7mb

I've got the lifetime price of $22/month + $9.99 (QWest.net) for 1.5mb service. Total price per month is $31.99

I called this morning to find out about upgrading to 7mb service and was told that the new monthly cost would be $47.99/month and I would no longer have qwest.net as my ISP.

Does this sound right? Seems like quite a price jump.

(I think) if you upgrade to 7M

your going to be fed with FTTN

which i guess is only offered with msn as an ISP. about the price, since you changed the service then that could have affected it. but it is still possible to bundle it and commit to another price for life.

You CAN GET MSN or QWEST.NET with the FTTN. It's the same ISP.

You just can't get other ISPs

Now .. you may not get as good of a price with Qwest.net vs. the MSN version..
