[Rave] Comcast techs....

I got a notice yesterday that my house had a cable leak. The tech's arrived today and did several tests. They ended up replacing every line in the house and didn't charge me a penny. They added a new wall plate also. They best part is I actually enjoyed the experience. They were friendly and explained everything they were doing. Great job Comcast! Thanks again.

You know someone has to say it. Would you say your experience was Comcastic?

Wow, every time I've talked to their customer service about a problem they threatened me by saying how much a service call was if the problem wasn't their equipment, which it was their equipment, or at least the coaxial they installed on a prior occasion.

I'm surprised they didn't charge you for installing an additional outlet

Obviously he hasn't gotten his bill yet if they did this today.

It's not a threat. People get pissed when charges show on their bill that aren't explained in advance. And the install is guaranteed 30 days. After that wiring in or on your house is yours. If it's Comcast's equipment, like you expressed, you have no charge to worry about.
