I didn't know whether to take this to mean that VW's TA was incapable of driving more than one phone, or Verizon didn't want their customers mucking with the house wiring. Turns out that the Verizon installer said there would be no problem with using the house wiring. At that point in time, I had decided on AT&T, since I read several reports regarding echo with VW. I'm glad that AT&T has the competition; it brought the price down :>)
